ADULT BALL-RUNNERS

Junior BALL-RUNNERS

Watch the action from the best seat in the house! We need volunteers available for prime-time matches Monday through Friday with the potential for Semi-Finals, and Finals on Saturday and Sunday. housing for players and officials

DTC players and coaches who hail from around the country and around the world are so grateful for the chance to stay with Midland families during the tournament. If you have a guest room in your house and are interested in more info, please email Karen at kskorup@greatermidland.org

Usher

Ushers will help organize and direct people to their seats, answer questions from attendees, and be a friendly face at the tournament. One special nuance of tennis tournaments is that people are only allowed to move around during “changeovers”, in between games. Ushers will help to ensure this rule is followed by all spectators. Requirement: Must be able to be on your feet for an extended period of time.

CREDENTIAL ASSISTANT

Verify the credentials of players, coaches, and umpires to gain access to specific tournament areas.

DRIVER

Drivers will be responsible for helping WTA players and tournament staff move between the designated event locations and the airport. Volunteers should be familiar with the local streets and be comfortable driving a van. Requirements: Drivers must be 25+ years old. Volunteers signing up for player-facing roles must be open to wearing a mask.

Concession Server

Helping coordinate/run the concession stand for those who do not have access to the Grand Slam Dining.

Grand Slam Dining Assistant

Helping the Grand Slam Dining in any way needed, including traffic control, greeting, trash, etc.

TICKET CHECK IN

Assisting the tournament staff in scanning tickets and helping with any questions.

Traffic Coordinators

Checking parking passes at the necessary lots, as well as directing traffic at the GMTC parking lot or an official tournament satellite lot.
